Privacy Policy
This explains what Vantedge ("we," "us") collects through this website and through the KitchenOS platform, and what we do with it. It's separate from the Terms of Service, which covers the actual agreement with your kitchen — this page is specifically about data. Email steven.morono@everyday-steve.com if anything here is unclear.

What This Website Collects
If you fill out the "Request More Information" form or sign a Letter of Intent, we collect your name, email, phone number (if given), your kitchen's name and approximate resident count, anything you write in the message field, and — for a Letter of Intent — the fact and timestamp of your confirmation, used to determine Founding Kitchen order and eligibility for the offers described in the Terms of Service. We use this only to follow up about KitchenOS and to honor those offers — nothing else.
We don't currently run any website analytics or advertising trackers.
What the Platform Collects
Once a kitchen is live, the platform collects what it needs to run: resident names or the identifiers your kitchen assigns, meal orders placed from the dining-table tablets, any dietary, allergy, or texture-restriction flags your staff enters, and the activity sign-ups and housekeeping/laundry/transportation/maintenance requests residents raise through the platform's other modules.
We use this only to operate the platform for your kitchen. We don't sell it, rent it, or use it to advertise to residents or their families.
Not a Health Record
KitchenOS is a food-service ordering and kitchen-operations platform, not a medical or health care service. We don't collect or knowingly handle protected health information, and nothing here is a HIPAA business associate agreement. Dietary, allergy, and texture flags are a convenience and safety feature, not a clinical dietary record — your kitchen's own kitchen and care team keep that responsibility, same as before this platform existed.
Who Else Sees It
Order and kitchen-operations data is visible to your own kitchen's staff — not shared outside your account, and not visible to other kitchens. Account and platform data is stored on a dedicated server we manage ourselves, not a shared third-party database. We use Stripe to process billing, which handles payment data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments, not as an independent owner of it.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
How Long We Keep It
We keep account and platform data for as long as your kitchen's account is active, plus a reasonable period after cancellation in case you resume service or need records for your own purposes. After that, we work to delete or de-identify it. If you want something removed sooner, email us and we'll take care of it.
Your Rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about your kitchen or a specific resident, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we genuinely need to keep the platform and your account working. Email steven.morono@everyday-steve.com and we'll respond directly — no automated request portal standing between you and an actual answer.
Children's Privacy
KitchenOS is built for commercial kitchens in senior living communities and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform changes. If a change is material, we'll post the new version here with an updated date — the same way we handle changes to the Terms.
